This policy explains how refunds, returns and exchanges work at Tech and Games (TAG).(TAG). It applies to purchases made in-store and, where available, online. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

1) Change-of-Mind Returns
In-store purchases: We accept unused items returned within 30 days of purchase.
Online/phone purchases: You have a 14-day cooling-off period starting the day after receiving the item to cancel for any reason. After cancellation, you must return the item within 14 days.
Condition: Items must be unused, in saleable condition, in original packaging and all accessories/manuals included. Please include your receipt or order number.
Refund method: We refund to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after receiving and inspecting the return.
Return postage:
Change-of-mind: You will cover return shipping.
If we supplied a wrong item or it arrived damaged/faulty, TAG covers reasonable return costs or provides a pre-paid label.
2) Faulty or damaged items
You have a short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of delivery/collection for a full refund. After 30 days, we will repair or replace within a reasonable time. If repair/replacement is not possible, we’ll refund.
What we need: Photos/videos of the fault (if applicable) and your order/receipt. Physical inspection may be required.
3) Repairs & Services (Non-Retail)
Repairs and services are covered by a limited warranty on parts and workmanship for the period stated on your job sheet/invoice.
The warranty does not cover any damage (e.g., drops, liquid ingress), misuse, software issues, or issues unrelated to the parts we replaced.
Diagnostics/inspection fees are non-refundable once the service has been performed.
For liquid-damaged devices, outcomes can be unpredictable; refunds are not available if subsequent faults appear after successful power-on or collection testing.
4) Items Excluded from Change-of-Mind Returns
(Your legal rights to faulty items still apply.)
Gift cards and vouchers
Downloadable/digital software or license keys once issued/activated
Made-to-order or customised builds (e.g., custom gaming PCs) unless faulty
Hygiene-sensitive products once opened (e.g., in-ear headphones/earbuds) unless faulty
Consumables once opened/used (e.g., screen protectors once installed, thermal paste, printer ink)
Items not returned with all original parts, packaging, or accessories
5) Exchanges
We’re happy to exchange items like-for-like (subject to stock) or for items of equal/ higher value (paying any difference). For faulty items, we’ll prioritise repair or replacement.
6) How to Start a Return
Email customerservice@techandgames.co.uk with your order number/receipt, items you’re returning, and the reason (faulty/damaged/change of mind).
We’ll reply with return instructions and, where applicable, a pre-paid label.
Pack the items securely. Include all accessories and proof of purchase.

Keep your tracking receipt. We’re not responsible for returns lost in transit without posting proof.
7) Processing Your Refund
We’ll confirm by email when your return is received and after inspection.
Approved refunds are issued within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
If you haven’t received your refund after our confirmation, check with your bank/issuer first, then contact us at customerservice@techandgames.co.uk.
Sale/clearance items: Refunds are available if faulty. For change-of-mind, sale items are non-refundable unless stated otherwise at purchase.
8) Shipping Costs & Responsibility
Change-of-mind returns: You pay return postage; original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Faulty/incorrect items: TAG will cover reasonable return costs (pre-paid label or reimbursement with receipt).
We recommend trackablerecommend trackable service and shipping insurance for high-value items.
9) Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, we can issue a gift credit for the value of your return once received.
If the gift was bought and shipped to the giver, we’ll refund the gift giver.
10) Manufacturer returns
Please do not send items to the manufacturer unless we instruct you. All returns should be processed through TAG using the process above.
